Middle Linebacker Profiles By: John McMullen Even though Brandon Short returned to Penn State, this is the best draft in years for inside linebackers. USC's Chris Claiborne had a monster year and has made himself into a top five pick. Ohio State's Andy Katzenmoyer, even though he had a down year, has the athletic ability, size and tools you don't find very often in an inside guy and should be a top 15 pick. Elsewhere in the top ten, I'm very interested in Tennessee's Al Wilson and Texas A&M's Dat Nguyen, two great college players that are undersized. They both could be the next Sam Mills or Ed McDaniel. The only newcomer on the list is Maryland's Eric Barton.
