Jamie Sharper Virginia, OLB
6-3 233 lbs

Sharper is a prototype NFL outside linebacker. He is a multidimensional player; can cover a back out of the backfield; is a tremendous run stopper, despite his size; and can blitz the quarterback. His speed gives him an advantage most linebackers don’t have. He had a terrific career at Virginia and was a semifinalist for the Butkus Award in 1996. Sharper should go in the middle of the first round, just after former teammate and fellow outside linebacker James Farrior.
