PROFILES

WR Profiles

  1. Randy Moss, Marshall, 6-3 1/2, 210
Moss is everything scouts look for in a wide receiver. He has all the skills needed to become an all-pro wide out; size, speed (4.35 40), hands, ability to run after the catch. In only two seasons at Marshall, he caught 173 passes for 3,529 yards and 54 touchdowns. The only question concerning Moss is if his off the field problems will continue once he turns pro.

  2. Kevin Dyson, Utah, 6-1, 199
Dyson was a productive college wide receiver who proved during off-season workouts that he is a first round prospect. He has both size and speed and should have a successful pro career. His only negative is his lack of consistency.

  3. Jacquez Green, Florida, 5-9, 173
Speedy wide receiver who makes big plays. Green made some unbelievable catches while at Florida and despite his size is not afraid to go over the middle. He also is a dangerous punt returner. His only draw back is that at only 5-9 he lacks the size teams want for their number one wide receiver.

  4. Germane Crowell, Virginia, 6-3, 212
Crowell has been compared to former Virginia wide out Herman Moore. He has the same combination of size and speed and makes the tough catch. Only negative is his inconsistency in catching passes over the middle.

  5. E.G. Green, Florida State, 5-11 1/2, 187
Green runs great routes, gets open, catches everything thrown to him, and runs well after the catch. A perfect possession receiver.

  6. Marcus Nash, Tennessee
  7. Az Hakim, San Diego State
  8. Tony Simmons, Wisconsin
  9. Hines Ward, Georgia
  10. Joe Jurevicious, Penn State
